• A tiny bit about myself: I love Jesus. I dont show it always, and when I miss an opportunity, I always regret it. Because theres no sweeter place than in His presence. I often forget that. My pursuit for a Godly woman's heart is never ending. I feel I am called to live a Godly life. To be a Godly leader. To live on Purpose. I listed some pursuits of a Godly Woman, that I strive to follow. Here are some verses to back them up.

    1.The Lord.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matt. 6:33. I have a desire to know Him more.  I want to experience His presence and Joy even more.

    2. My Husband.

Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Col 3:18
As challenging as marriage can be or get, If I keep my eyes on the Lord’s word and I keep my focus on glorifying Him and not myself, I find joy. It is an honor to make our Lord happy. I fail at times, but he is Gracious to forgive me.

    3. My children’s hearts.
And what was the one God seeking?  Godly offspring.  Malachi 2:15 (ESV)
I connect with my kids through routine activities, picking outfits out for school, meal time, bath time. Ashton is getting to the age where he really wants recognition so I made an attempt to listen more to him and respond to what he is saying in an uplifting way.  We have been doing family devotional nights and we have our time where we sit on the couch together and just chat and ask about each others’ day.

    4.Health and wellness.
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 1 Cor. 6:19
I try to eat healthy and workout as much as I can during the week. It helps me with any stress that may come my way, and gives me a boost of energy. This helps me perform well for my family as well as serving in my church body, and in my business.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.  Acts 2:42
God created us for fellowship, not just with Him, but with the body of Christ.   Personally, I have to diligently find time in my schedule to make sure I connect with other women in real life. Sometime this comes out of my comfort.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Matt. 11:28
If I’m running all week long and I have no down time, my body and mind will pretty much feel dead.  And if those things die down, then an emotional breakdown could come peering around the corner! I have to be extremely intentional about getting rest.  I have to make sure I set aside Sundays. We go to church as a family. I really try to say No to other things on this day.

    7. Truth and wisdom.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16
This is an important pursuit for myself.  I want to honor the Lord with my time and my life.

    8. Service to Others
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. Gal. 6:10
Every believer has been given a spiritual gift but it is up to us to unwrap the gift- and then use it!

    9. Order and routine.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.  Gal. 6:9
This helps me not go insane. Keeps life running smoothly. These two go hand in hand. This is one way to keep my church priorities, my family order and my business tasks balanced. Order and routine are where it has to be.

To live a life after God's own heart as a woman is a daunting task. If I want to live an abundant life guilt free, and blameless... my Godly pursuits in this life MUST stand. He is stronger and bigger than any dilemma or trial, and His ways are worth the time and effort. I really want to live on Purpose.
